NC Disaster Case Management Program
In the wake of Tropical Storm Helene, the North Carolina Disaster Case Management Program (NC-DCM) is available to guide survivors through the recovery process. NC-DCM assists individuals with unmet needs due to Tropical Storm Helene and who either live in one of the 39 disaster-impacted counties or are members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. You can get help from the program even if you have not applied for FEMA assistance.
Get Started
Get started by filling out the initial needs survey or call 844-746-2326 to speak to a case manager. Para comenzar, complete la encuesta inicial de necesidades.
After you complete the survey, a case manager will help you:
- Make a recovery plan that fits your needs.
- Find available resources.
- Work through challenges caused by the storm.
Effective July 1, 2026, all Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) and Helene Resource Centers (HRCs) are now closed. Thank you to everyone who visited a MARC or HRC during the recovery effort. Although the physical resource centers are no longer operating, recovery assistance may still be available through local, state, and federal partners. Please contact your assigned Disaster Case Manager (DCM) or the North Carolina Disaster Case Management Program (NC-DCM) at 844-746-2326 for information about available resources and ongoing recovery support.
Resource Library
The Resource Library is a collection of programs, services, and support resources available across the impacted area, gathered from non-profits, disaster assistance partners, Long-Term Recovery Groups, and other relief organizations. It is designed to help disaster survivors easily access the support they need.
All the organizations listed under "County" support the disaster-impacted area. Users can use the "find" function on your computer (Ctrl + F on a PC or Command + F on a Mac) to search by keyword, as well as export or print the list (by clicking the 3 dots) for your convenience.
