State and local law enforcement officials have apprehended a juvenile who failed to return to secure custody at the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center following a home visit on May 12.

On May 11 at approximately 8:10 a.m. at Nash Correctional Institution, a correctional officer was assaulted by inmate Treamine Ross (#1163272). Ross struck the officer before being subdued by other correctional officers.

State correctional and local law enforcement officers are seeking Gaston Correctional Center minimum custody inmate Montavious Miller (#0696992), who was reported missing from the facility Wednesday night. Miller was last seen at the facility at 7:30 p.m.

North Carolina will receive $5,627,645 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for repairs to roads and bridges as well as reimbursement for repairs to the Devonwood Lower Dam following Hurricane Matthew.
