Community Programs

The Community Programs section utilizes a comprehensive strategy of community-based services, evidence-based contractual services and effective case management to help prevent and reduce juvenile crime and delinquency in North Carolina.

Juvenile Court Services

The Juvenile Court Services section provides intake, diversion, supervision and post-release services for undisciplined and delinquent juveniles within a continuum of care and services that help juveniles and their families navigate the criminal justice system.

Juvenile Facility Operations

The Juvenile Facility Operations section staffs and maintains two types of secure commitment centers for youths in North Carolina: juvenile detention centers and youth development centers.
