Davita Morant

Director, Human Resources

Davita Morant was appointed director of Human Resources for the department on Feb. 10, 2025.

In this role, Morant leads the department’s human resources operations, overseeing policy management, legal compliance, benefits and talent acquisition. She has been serving as acting director since September 2023 and previously held the position of human resources deputy director of operations. Since joining NCDPS in July 2018, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to service and leadership.

Morant brings more than 17 years of human resources experience to this role.
