More than one in seven criminal offenses reported between 2019 and 2022 in North Carolina was a drug offense, according to reports submitted by state and local law enforcement agencies to the National Incident-Based Reporting System, or NIBRS. This document contains the findings of the Criminal Justice Analysis Center after analyzing these reports.
