Lt. Jeff Gordon presented a trophy to 10-year-old Sophia Beck of Hendersonsville for winning the 2015 North Carolina's Missing Children Poster Contest. A blue ribbon went to first runner-up Ethan Pridmore, 11,also of Hendersonville.
Gordon addressed attendees of the Hendersonville Boys and Girls Club's annual Family Night on Tuesday evening, April 21, and told the group that the two winning posters were selected from 94 submitted from across the state.
Gordon said he was honored to be able to present the awards for the "Bring Home our Children" poster contest that is sponsored by the N.C. Center for Missing Persons. He said Beck and Pridmore were excited to win the contest.
