Two Minimum Custody Offenders Escape Morrison Correctional Institution

State correctional officers and local law enforcement are seeking two minimum custody offenders who escaped from Morrison Correctional Institution in Hoffman this morning.

They are Josh Ashworth (#1534173) and Brandon McDurmon (#1601999). They were last seen at breakfast in the facility between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Ashworth, 18, is a white male, 5-foot-7, 137 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes, and a thin build. He was serving a three-year sentence for felony breaking and entering. He was scheduled for release on Aug. 30, 2019.

 

McDurmon, 22, is a white male, 5-foot-11, 163 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes, and a medium build. He was serving a two-year and two-month sentence for possession of a firearm by a felon. He was scheduled for release on May 5, 2020. He is originally from Person County.
