Officials with the state Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice, in conjunction with state and local law enforcement officials, today resumed their search for a juvenile who escaped from custody following a court hearing early Tuesday afternoon in Robeson County. The N.C. Department of Public Safety is cooperating with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, Lumberton Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service Task Force in the search for the juvenile.
Area residents are urged to immediately report any potential sightings or information regarding the juvenile’s whereabouts to the Robeson County Sheriff’s office at 910-671-3170.
