Over the weekend, ALE and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office raided an illegal alcohol business which resulted in the seizure of guns, drugs, and alcoholic beverages.

Over the weekend, Alcohol Law Enforcement, State Highway Patrol, and local law enforcement partnered to reduce crime and enhance public safety at both ABC-licensed and illegal alcohol businesses across the state.

The State Highway Patrol recognized the promotions of 117 sworn and 10 civilian members today during a ceremony held at The Shephard’s Church in Cary. The event was conducted in celebration of those who received a promotion throughout 2021 and the beginning of 2022.

Friday evening, ALE concluded a months-long investigation which resulted in over 30 arrests and more than 200 drug, alcohol, and weapons charges.

The operation addressed the illegal sales of guns, drugs and alcohol from ABC-licensed businesses and residences throughout Columbus County.
