The U.S. Department of Justice has awarded a $1.75 million grant to the Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice to enhance transitional services for inmates as they prepare to leave prison.

Governor Pat McCrory says North Carolina will continue to assist South Carolina and is sending several teams there to help as that state continues to respond to and recover from record flooding.

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 until complete.

On Monday, Oct. 12, residents and business leaders in Sampson County communities will have an opportunity to review and discuss the latest flood hazard and flood risk data.

Residents and business leaders in Wake County will have two opportunities – Oct. 8 and 15 – to review and discuss the latest flood hazard and flood risk data.
