Highway Patrol ended its Operation Stop Arm campaign on Friday, Oct. 23. The campaign which began on Monday, Oct. 19 was focused on promoting traffic safety around North Carolina schools, school buses and school bus stops.

Inmates at several state prisons across North Carolina raised approximately 16,250 pounds of fresh produce and donated it to local food banks, community pantries and social service organizations this year as part of the Combating Hunger project launched last spring.

Twenty five individuals were arrested for drug violations tonight, after multiple law enforcement personnel executed three search warrants at ABC mixed beverages licensed establishments.

WHAT: The task force created to design a comprehensive strategic plan to improve the successful reintegration of

Raleigh on Monday.

In support of Operation Stop Arm week the State Highway Patrol will be aggressively enforcing stop arm violations and other traffic violations in and around school zones. The operation will be conducted from 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19 through Fri., Oct. 23.

What: 440th Army Band, NCNG personnel and military vehicles will participate in the parade and military appreciation day festivities.

Attention All News Editors: On Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:39 p.m. a SUV was traveling north on I-95. The operator of the SUV lost control near the 47 mm, traveled off the roadway to the left, and struck a tree within the median.
