Three handguns, marijuana and alcoholic beverages were found and seized during an investigation which resulted in multiple arrests and one teen hospitalized.
On Saturday, January 21, NC ALE special agents, assisted by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina State Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant at 5310 Burrow Road in Julian, NC. Law enforcement found attendees at the residence ranging in age from 11-years-old to 23-years-old. During the search, three handguns and marijuana were discovered.
ALE special agents located an unresponsive, underage female teen in the woods near the residence. The female was brought out of the woods to be treated by EMS and was later transported to the hospital.
The host of the party, Angel Peeler, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcoholic beverages and aid and abet underage person(s) in the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
