RE: State Highway Patrol Employees and Civilians to Receive Awards

Governor Pat McCrory released the following video message in observance of Veterans Day in North Carolina.

An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a Knightdale man today suspected of striking and killing a pedestrian on Friday, Oct. 30,  while he walked along Poole Road. Wake County troopers worked tirelessly following up on leads with the hopes of bringing closure to a grieving mother.

After learning that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied Governor Pat McCrory’s aid request to help eight coastal counties recover from last month’s flooding, the governor has announced he will appeal the decision.
