With summer temperatures rising into the upper 90 degree mark this week, the North Carolina State Highway is reminding motorists of the dangers when a child is left unattended in a vehicle.

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety currently has positions available and is now hiring correctional officers at Polk Correctional Institution in Butner and at Warren Correctional Institution in Manson.  Numerous positions are available at each location.
