NC Tier II Grants
The Tier II grants may provide Local Emergency Planning Committees with funding and more options to expand the scope of their hazardous materials emergency preparedness programs though response planning, training and related exercises to include fixed facility planning.
All active LEPCs are eligible for Tier II grant funds from the hazardous materials facility fees collected during the Tier II reporting period. The grants are to be used for hazardous materials emergency response planning, training and related exercises, with some conditions and limitations.
