After a long history of disturbances, search warrants, drug violations and calls to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, the Meadowbrook community has cooperated with the Sheriff’s Office to ensure their children and families are safer.

 On Thursday, January 26, 2023, NC ALE and Granville County Sheriff’s Office seized over 200 pounds of marijuana, more than 20 pounds of liquid THC, non-tax paid liquor and a large sum of cash while executing search warrants.

After countless years and a long history of disturbances, drug violations and countless calls to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, the Township of Lucama has worked together with the Sheriff’s Office to create a safer community.

Now that we have stepped into a new year it is time to put an international foot forward. The U.S. survey foot was retired at the end of 2022 by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the international foot is stepping up to take its place.
