Topics Related to State Highway Patrol

From the mountains to the sea, law enforcement officers from across North Carolina gathered today at a memorial service for the 30 uniformed men and women who died in the line of duty over the past year.

This annual campaign is aimed at reducing collisions involving teen drivers on our roadways.  Beginning Monday, April 4, and going through Friday, April 8, troopers will step up their enforcement efforts in and around school zones between 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.   

The State Highway Patrol swore in 16 new troopers at a ceremony held for the 155th Basic Highway Patrol School.
